Ice Hockey Queensland is the governing body of youth and amateur ice hockey in Queensland and the premier developer of hockey players in the state.

The Brisbane Goannas are Queensland’s premiere team competing in the Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL).

The Brisbane Blitz are Queensland’s junior representatives competing in the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League (AJIHL).

Youth and senior level ice hockey is played predominantly in South East Queensland with two clubs based in Brisbane – Acacia Ridge, Boondall and Bundall on the Gold Coast. In addition to this, there is also a junior ice hockey club in Townsville, North Queensland, based at Warrina Ice Skating rink.
